Center of the Turkish Language and Culture

The Center of the Turkish Language and Culture was opened on September 18, 2012. It was set up under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Belarus and the Turkish company "Kodzha Group".

The Center contributes to a more successful organization of teaching and learning in undergraduate groups studying at the Faculty of Economics and Law on the course "Economy and Management in Tourism Industry" and learning Turkish. The Centre runs pre-planned lectures, practicals, and presentations given by BarSU staff and visiting lecturers.

The Center's facilities:

  • satellite television broadcasting in Turkish;
  • a media system, an interactive white board;
  • computers and office equipment;
  • electronic resources:
    • book database;
    • full-text CD-ROM databases, audio cassettes;
    • feature films;
    • access to the Internet;
    • online communication with native speakers of Turskish.

The Center is committed to creating and expanding its stock of scientific, education, information and other books.
